Colorado Concealed Carry Course - EXTENDED
Our Colorado Concealed Carry License courses meet and exceed the requirements of the Colorado Revised Statutes (C.R.S) and the recommended course content from the County Sheriffs of Colorado, Inc. for a concealed handgun (aka CCW) permit.
Our EXTENDED course consist of our BASIC course taught first in the class and with additional extended content related to self-defense topics for the individual whom feels they would like additional knowledge in following areas and materials:
- OODA Loop (Observe, Orient, Decide, Act) concepts and approaches.
- Basic Situational Awareness and Avoidance Module - click for description of module
- Analysis of a Citizen Based Shooting Module
- Defensive Considerations module
This course is scheduled for 6.0 to 6.5 hours but could be longer depending upon questions and extended subjects.

We are centrally located to Ft. Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Longmont and all of Northern Colorado (NOCO). We are only 30 minutes from the northern suburbs of Denver.
We will teach the student the necessary topics required by the C.R.S. in order to apply for and hopefully be approved for the privilege to possess a Colorado concealed handgun permit. At the end of this course the student need only apply at the sheriff's office in the county that they reside.
Unlike our competitors whom cancel courses without a minimum of enrollees, our classes are held whether we have one or a dozen enrollees. We are client focused and have a passion to educate, enable and support our clients.
The course curriculum includes but is not limited to the following:
- OODA Loop concept overview
- How a pistol and revolver function
- Ammunition function, identification and self-defense choices
- Holstering and vehicle storage options
- Proper grip, stance and sighting techniques
- Cleaning, inspection and storage
- Issues of liability
- Escalation of force
- Law enforcement encounter and interaction guidance
- Analysis of a citizen based shooting
- Tall Guns basic situational awareness and avoidance
- Defensive Considerations, such as lasers, Tasers, flashlights, etc.
